Featured Survivors Matt Lubbers Matt’s father, Doug Lubbers, was scheduled to be the 2011 Rock the Nite featured survivor. Doug, a founding member of the Rock the Nite event, and recent Air Products retiree, had his Lymphoma in remission for 12 years. Sadly, his Lymphoma aggressively returned in Spring of 2010. Though he fought it all the way, he lost his battle this past Monday morning. Because he was so determined throughout his illness to speak at this year’s Rock the Nite, Matt, will deliver the speech his father wrote for this event.
